Challenge Five: Mixed Media
Our fifth and final challenge is an exciting opportunity to think outside the box and introduce other materials besides clay into your creative process. This could be elements of the natural world such as wood, shells and leaves, or you might choose to create something using manmade objects and technology such as a lamp.
We’re really excited to see what kind of designs you can come up with and the creative ways you find to introduce new materials into your work.
Challenge Five Rules
Your piece must contain at least one additional material besides clay. Paint does not count as an additional material. There is no limit to the number of materials you can use in your piece. It can be a pot / vase / sculpture / lamp or any other type of clay based creation.
